Description: Presented by Osceola County Extension Services, this interactive food and nutrition program reinforces the Florida State Sunshine Standards in Reading, Science, Math, and Health. Kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade will participate in food demonstrations, physical education activities and lessons that stress being healthy and making healthy food choices. Games, videos, and puppets will also be used in this 45 minute program.

Description: Presented by Osceola County Extension Services, this interactive food and nutrition program includes demonstrations and hands on activities with food. Sessions stress nutritional information and the food pyramid, becoming a "label detectivie" to know what those food labels really mean, and learning to handle food and its preparation safely to avoid cross-contamination.

This 45 minute program runs concurrently to a "Fun with Food" program for children so all Moms and Dads and caretakers are invited to attend!

TODDLER TALES

Description: Walkers from 18-36 months are invited to dance, sing, do finger-plays, and listen to great stories. These storytimes help encourage emerging language skills.
