Free Practice Tests Available via Library’s Web Page
Learning Express Library and Testing and Education Reference Center with Career Module are two databases you can access from the library’s website that offer free practice tests and test prep guidebooks.
SAT, ACT, CLEP, GED, US Citizenship, NCLEX, Firefighter, and Law Enforcement are just a few of the free practice tests available with a Library card and a computer with the Web. Your Library card allows you unlimited access to take the practice tests and guidebooks as many times as you need for preparation. You can take the tests from your home, work, or school computer. Or you can visit the Library.
- To use the databases from home:
- Go to www.osceolalibrary.org
- Mouse over Research (the picture with the keyboard)
- Click on Databases
- Scroll to Education & Languages
- Click on Learning Express Library or Testing and Education Reference Center with Career Module
- Enter your 13 digit library card number
- Explore the database.

The Book a Librarian service allows customers to reserve up to 30 minutes with a professional Librarian who will help sort through information and/or computer needs. Book a Librarian topics include:
- Basic computer and Internet instruction
- Business and statistical data
- Homework and research assistance
- Guidance for report and term paper preparation
- Limited legal research
- Health and wellness information
- Community resources

To access this free service, log on to OsceolaLibrary.org and then click on the MyLibraryDV link located at the bottom of the Web page. After a one time install of a download manager, you can view on-demand DVD-quality programming such as Rick Steves’ Europe, workout/exercise, documentaries, cooking shows, movies, plus much more!

TumbleBooks for Kids!
Did you know? The Library offers interactive TumbleBooks for kids 24/7? TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.
To access this free service, log on to OsceolaLibrary.org, click Kid Space (picture of little girl) then click on the School Resources section. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click TumbleBooks Library. After downloading the free Flash 6 plug-in, you are ready to go!
Kids can choose to have books read to them or they can read the books aloud to practice. Books are also available in Spanish and French.
