Writing Your Memoirs

By popular demand our memoir writing series is back for the month of May. This six week series is a therpeutic way to share your personal memories. This is a series so it is to your benefit to register for all six classes; each session is limited to 20 participants so sign up early to assure a seat.

All six classes will be held in the Hart Memorial Library in Kissimmee, in the 2nd Floor Roseada Room.

Getting Started
This first session will cover, lifelines defined, crucial characters, and pivotal events.

May 1st, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.


Inspiration
The second sesson will cover memory prompts, photo prompts and time capsules.

May 8th, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.


How Stories Come Together
This third session will cover developing themes, voice audience, viewpoint, and editing.

May 15th, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.


Choices and Challenges
The fourth session will cover painful memories, memoirs therapy and truth or fiction.

May 22nd, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.


Interviewing and Research
The fifth session will cover interview savior faire, genealogy, and online resourses.

May 29th, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.


Publishing Your Memoirs
The sixth and last session will cover publishing, self publishing, and homemade books.

June 5th, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

This is a great course. I recommend it to anyone who wants to leave a legacy for their children, love ones, and/or friends.
I am going to attend again to pick up what I missed.
